We had another good year with our Annual IHN Golf Marathon. While we had fewer golfers, they were able to bring in more pledges than last year. We had only 19 golfers but they were able to recruit sponsors for a total pledge of a little over $35,000.
Eric Montgomery won the top prize with the most sponsorship and Keith Simpson won the closest to the pin and Eric Montgomery also won the longest drive.
The weather was threatening most of the day and then rain come in about 3 PM so some of them got a little wet before they completed their rounds. Almost all of the players played 100 holes despite the rain and everyone had a good time. The food provided by the WGC golf course was great and the companionship was tops.
Everyone had a great time and the people served by the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greene County/ Schneider House of Hope are eternally grateful for all of the support of the golfers and sponsors. We of the Board of Trustees and staff also thank the players, sponsors, and community for the outstanding continued support of our mission.
